This Ensemble Embo Ethongweni event directed by Ntsiki Anderson spoke to the duality of existence within the physical dimension ‘Embo’ and the spiritual dimension ‘Ethongweni’. It was sound exploration using a blend of African indigenous instrumentation, musicology, and knowledge - while also exploring the electronic scene of afro–indie, afro-folk, world, classical African and African fusion.
