A club night, exorcism, fight against isolation, and phallic fantasies of transcendence or individuation. A battle against the suppression of body-self-impulse that comes from privatisation, expansive capital, and the heteronormative binary. Here, we cruise the possibility of future utopias in the troubled present of land enclosures and impure histories. It featured DRAGMOTHER on the decks and was followed by a Death of Glitter party.

About Nico Athene
Nico Athene is a body of colliding personas – a multidisciplinary artist, birth doula, ex-sex worker, filmmaker, anthropomorph, and a vector of grief and desire. Athene is currently completing her MAFA at the University of the Witwatersrand, where she is exploring identity beyond the tradable, and the opportunities for relationships in "capitalist wastelands". She has exhibited her work with various galleries and in varying contexts and has been a resident artist
