Nigerian artist, Jelili Atiku reacted to US President Trump’s controversial comments about Africa and Haiti by creating an artistic performance that explores the negative effects of bureaucracy on everyday life. Atiku debuted the performance in Cape Town.

Globally renowned artist/activist and performance artist Atiku is an inspirational figure to his indigenous people in Ejigbo, Nigeria, and his fans all over the world. Through his intriguing and often provocative performances, he engages audiences about politics, climate change, and social justice. His work has been shown globally including the Marrakech Biennale 2014, the Transmediale Festival, Berlin and the Tate Modern, London.
